DESCRIPTION

This isn't just a vase, it's a captured moment of seaside magic. Imagine the sun, warm and dazzling, playing on the rippled sand as the tide retreats – that's the feeling this hand-built moon jar evokes.

Crafted from low-fired stoneware and burnished to a smooth glow, it's then kissed by smoke, creating a unique dance of cream and charcoal hues that whisper of driftwood and salty breezes.

Whether gracing your table or simply standing as a serene statement, this piece is a tactile reminder of the sun's embrace on the shore.

Let 'Sun on Sandbank' bring a touch of sun-kissed serenity into your home.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The low temperature firing technique that allows the fire to combine with the clay means that the pots are porous and should not be used to contain food or liquids.
Smoke fired work should be kept out of direct or strong light, as you would for example water colour paintings, wood and photography. As no glaze is used, the pots have been finished off with a matt UV protection sealant and a light coating of bees wax to help protect it. Gentle handling and buffing with a soft cloth maintains the patina.
