DESCRIPTION
Alicja Podgórska Birkner’s sculptural works evoke a powerful connection between form, balance, and movement, each piece revealing her deep understanding of organic shapes. In the two unique sculptures 'N°0011' & 'N°0010', her mastery of stoneware comes to life through biomorphic curves that seem to defy gravity, yet remain anchored in a quiet, meditative strength.
N°0011 presents a fluid and continuous form, its smooth surface tracing various contours. The gentle arches and voids within the structure invite light to pass through, casting shifting shadows that add a dynamic interplay to its overall presence.
The subtle, tactile quality of the material, give it a soft touch enhancing the piece’s organic essence.
