Alicja Podgórska Birkner, born in Poland in 1960 and now based in Munich, is a contemporary artist known for her captivating stone and ceramic sculptures. Over the course of three decades, she has established herself as a prominent figure in the international art scene.

Alicja's sculptures have been exhibited in prestigious exhibitions next to Museums including the World Ceramic Biennale in Korea, Design Parcour at the National Gallery in Munich, and Glas and Cup – Polish Design Stories in Istanbul.

A recipient of the Gold Medal at the Bavarian National Prize in Munich, Alicja continues to push the boundaries of ceramic art.
