During a ceramics workshop in Lisbon, constrained by time, I discovered the extruder. This tool became the technical impulse for a great majority of my pieces. This «idea developing machine» also represents what interests me in ceramics today. It is an ideal combination of a taste for ancestral traditions and the use of innovative processes.

I have been fascinated by the intricate patterns and infinite harmony of underwater creatures, which has always inspired my imagination. In my ceramic art, I aim to capture this fascination by creating magnified, oversized, and otherworldly versions of seashells. My sculptural language is formed by my attraction to examine living forms’ characteristics, engage with themes of fantasy, and create a sense of movement in a still-life object, using abstract curves and tilts.
