DESCRIPTION

Inspired by the ethereal beauty of misty mornings by the sea, 'Morning Rise of Tide' awakens the tranquility of the ocean within your home. Awaken your senses with this stoneware vessel, a tangible echo of the ocean's dawn ballet. Envision the misty dance of sea meeting shore, the tide gently ascending as the first rays of sunlight pierce the haze – that's the essence captured within this hand-built art object.

Its curves mimic the water's embrace, while the burnished surface shimmers with a soft, ethereal glow. Smoke-firing adds a touch of mystery, painting delicate charcoal patterns reminiscent of swirling tides and whispering seafoam.

Whether combined with other pieces at your home or standing alone as a contemplative artwork, 'Morning Rise of Tide' will transport you to the tranquil serenity of the seashore at daybreak.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS

The low temperature firing technique that allows the fire to combine with the clay means that the pots are porous and should not be used to contain food or liquids.
Smoke fired work should be kept out of direct or strong light, as you would for example water colour paintings, wood and photography. As no glaze is used, the pots have been finished off with a matt UV protection sealant and a light coating of bees wax to help protect it. Gentle handling and buffing with a soft cloth maintains the patina.
