WHERE ANCIENT GREECE MEETS MODERN CHIC
Myrto draws from the timeless elegance of Ancient Greek pottery, infusing it with her own bold experimentation in colour, texture, and form. Each piece is a dance of organic movement and vibrant energy.
She holds a BA in Ceramics from Stoke on Trent and an MA in Ceramics from Wolverhampton University, UK. With more than 8 years of experience in creating ceramic sculptural work, Myrto has become both an artist and educator. Her work has garnered acclaim for its unique blend of tradition and innovation.
'I SEE CLAY AS A LIVING, BREATHING MEDIUM. IT'S A CONVERSATION BETWEEN MY HANDS, THE EARTH, AND THE FIRE. EACH PIECE IS A SNAPSHOT OF THAT DIALOGUE.'
Her creations are more than mere objects; they are portals to a world of tactile delight and visual intrigue. From the swirling textures to the unexpected pops of colour, each vessel invites touch and contemplation.
